Scapa 4928 - Boeing Approved

Scapa are pleased to announce that 4928 is now on the qualified products list of the material specification BMS 5-133E, type IV, class 3, meaning its now an approved carpet tape by Boeing. Scapa 4928 also meets the specifications set by AIRBUS.

Scapa 4928 is a self-extinguishing double sided tape based on a fire retardant polyester cloth, coated on both sides with a flame retardant rubber based adhesive system (adhesive group NC). It also produces no or hardly any smoke when on fire. Therefore this product is also extremely suitable for carpet fitting applications such as in buses, trains and public buildings. We also produce a reverse wound version which can be applied directly on to the carpet by the manufacturer.
